I am a community ecologist interested in what causes species interactions to vary across space. My research largely focuses on interactions among plants, and considers how they are affected by variation in the environment, environmental changes such as sea-level rise, interactions with other species, and variation within species. Increasingly, my research focuses on the importance of intraspecific variation in communities.

Starting in January 2018, I will be an NSF postdoctoral fellow at Northeastern University.
